Pencaitland Playgroup adheres to a strict set of policies and procedures, in line with East Lothian Council's Early Learning and Childcare guidelines. 

Playgroup Information

This booklet has everything you need to know about the playgroup, from day to day running through to a first day checklist. Please note we operate during school term time only. 

Constitution

As a registered charity, Pencaitland Playgroup must have a constitution - a legal document that works as a rulebook for the staff and committee to adhere to.

Committee Meetings & AGM

Our committee meets once a month to discuss fundraising activities and any playgroup matters. Parents and carers are welcome to join our committee meetings at any time, please get in touch if you would like to come and we'll let you know the date of the next meeting.

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held every Summer. The AGM provides an opportunity to discuss our financial situation, any change in our office bearers and plans for the year ahead. Again, this meeting is open to all parents and carers.
